From pain to full recovery

Four phases, with clear progression criteria. We don't progress on a calendar — we progress when your tests allow it.

Phase 1 · days 1 to 10

Calm

Reduce pain and inflammation: manual therapy, gentle mobilizations, ice or heat, temporary activity adjustments. Goal: sleep through a full night.

Phase 2 · weeks 2 to 4

Remobilize

Restore full range of motion and movement control. Progressive exercises, two or three times a day, five minutes. Goal: move without compensating.

Phase 3 · weeks 4 to 8

Strengthen

Progressive loading with bands, weights and functional exercises. We measure strength with a dynamometer to compare both sides. Goal: 90% of the healthy side.

Phase 4 · before discharge

Return

A real test of return to sport or work: jumps, running, lifting based on your reality. Goal: return without fear, with a prevention plan.

Acute injury: same-day

Fresh sprain, locked back, a shoulder that just gave out: two slots are kept open every day. Call before 2pm.

No medical referral required

In Quebec, you can consult a physiotherapist directly. Some insurers, however, require a referral: check your contract before your first visit.

What we measure

Range of motion with a goniometer, strength with a dynamometer, timed functional tests. The same measures repeated at every re-evaluation: your progress is numbers, not an impression.

What we don't do

No indefinitely repeated passive treatments, no 30-session plans sold in advance. If you're not progressing after four sessions, we change approach or refer you.

CNESST, SAAQ and insurance

We handle the forms and reports. You handle your exercises.

Work accident (CNESST)

Open file: no charge to you, we bill CNESST directly. Progress reports sent to your doctor and employer, with a gradual return-to-work plan.

Car accident (SAAQ)

Direct billing with your claim number. Whiplash, low back pain, concussion: evaluation within 48 hours of your call.

Private insurance

Official receipt with the Quebec physiotherapy professional order license number, provided at every visit. Direct billing available with most group insurers.

Veterans and public plans

Veterans, First Nations dental and medical care program, public employer plans: bring your card, we verify coverage before your first visit.
