Create your account

Name, email, password. You read and sign the affiliate agreement online. Your referral link is ready right away.

Share your link

By text, by email, on Facebook, on your own site. The visitor is tracked for 365 days: if they subscribe within the year, it's your sale.

Get paid every week

30 days after the customer's payment, the commission becomes available. As soon as your balance reaches $50, it is deposited directly into your bank account with Monday's payout, in CAD or USD. No waiting until the end of the month: every week.

Your network

Recruit other affiliates. Earn on their sales too.

Every affiliate you bring in earns you 5% on their clients. The affiliates they recruit in turn: 1%. Your network works while you do something else.

We don't pay pyramids. To earn on your network, you must have brought in real paying clients yourself: 2 for the first level, 5 for the second. An affiliate who only recruits earns nothing.

Do I need to be a Local Shop Host client?
No. You can refer without ever having had a site with us.
How long does my link stay valid?
365 days. Someone clicks today, subscribes eight months later: it's your sale.
Why wait 30 days?
That's the client's refund window. Once it passes, the commission is yours. If the client is refunded before, the commission is cancelled: we don't pay out on money we gave back.
How do I get paid?
Every Monday, through Wise, as soon as your available balance reaches $50. You enter your bank account (Canada, United States or IBAN) in your settings and the money is deposited directly, in CAD or USD; or, if you prefer, a Wise email to claim each payout.
What if the client cancels?
Commissions already earned stay yours. Future ones stop with the subscription.
Can the rates change?
Yes, with reasonable notice. Commissions already earned are protected. It's all written in the agreement you sign at registration.
What is my status?
Independent contractor. You are responsible for taxes on the commissions you receive. You are neither an employee nor an agent of Local Shop Host.
