Services
& rates
Hourly rate of $110 during regular hours, materials extra and billed at cost plus 15% — it's on the estimate. Free on-site estimate for any project over $500. Taxes extra.
No heavy industrial three-phase work: above 400A, we refer you to a specialized colleague rather than improvise.
A power outage, right now?
Don't touch the panel if you smell burning. Get out, call. We'll walk you through it on the phone while the truck is on its way — it's free and often prevents the worst.
A room or appliance has no power. Often a breaker or a faulty outlet — quick diagnosis.
A breaker that trips repeatedly signals an overload or a short circuit. Don't force it to stay closed.
Cut the power if you can and get out. This is our top priority — we come right away.
Surge damage or a damaged electrical service entrance: full inspection and safe restoration.
The company
The diagnosis before the invoice, never the other way around.
Trained at CFP Charlesbourg, Sébastien spent ten years in industrial work before moving into residential in 2009. He'd rather explain what's actually wrong than sell a full replacement when a repair will do.
Three electricians on the road: Sébastien, Anne-Marie and Olivier, all licensed journeypersons. Every job is documented with before-and-after photos for your insurance or sale records.
Our promises
Five promises, in writing
- 1 Written estimate before any work. Detailed, valid 30 days. If we find something else once the wall is open, we stop and call you.
- 2 Two-hour appointment windows. No “sometime today”: 8 to 10 AM, 10 AM to noon, and a call 30 minutes before arrival.
- 3 Two-year labour warranty. Plus the manufacturer's warranty on parts. If it happens again, we come back at no charge.
- 4 We leave with our own mess. Shop vac, wire scraps, old breakers loaded into the truck.
- 5 Callback within two hours. On weekdays, any message left before 4 PM gets a same-day response.
Avoiding the outage
Four free habits that save us work — and save you an emergency call bill.
Outlets with a test/reset button (kitchen, bathroom, outdoor) should be tested monthly. Thirty seconds.
Plugging a power bar into another one overloads the circuit and heats up the wiring. One at a time.
Federal Pacific panels and some Zinsco models are known risks — an inspection settles the doubt.
Find it today, not during the outage. Usually in the basement or garage.
Find it today, not during the outage. Usually in the basement, the garage, or near the outdoor electrical service entrance.
