Dr. Camille Bouchard, DMD
Owner dentist

Dr. Camille Bouchard, DMD

A 2009 graduate of Université Laval, Dr. Bouchard first spent five years at a community clinic, where she learned to care for people who hadn't seen a dentist in a long time. She opened Rive-Douce in 2016 with a simple idea: no one should be ashamed of the state of their teeth.

Trained in conscious sedation and anxious-patient dentistry, she works slowly, explains every step before doing it, and stops the moment you raise your hand. A mother of two, she sees many families — often three generations in the same day.

With her: Josée and Maxime, dental hygienists for over ten years each, and Nadia at the front desk, who knows your file by heart.

If the dentist scares you, read this

About one patient in four tells us they're anxious. It's neither rare nor embarrassing — tell us when you call, and we'll plan more time.

The first visit

No treatment. We talk, we look, we take X-rays if you agree, and we explain the plan. You leave with a quote, no commitment.

The hand signal

Raise your hand, we stop. Always, immediately, no discussion. As many pauses as needed.

Gentle sedation

Nitrous oxide (laughing gas) available for all treatments, light oral sedation by prescription. You stay awake, just relaxed.

Comfort around you

Weighted blanket, headphones and music, tinted glasses. You're welcome to come see the room before booking.

Accessibility

Step-free ground floor, widened door, adapted washroom. Companions welcome in the treatment room.

Gentle technology

Digital X-rays (up to 80% less radiation), intraoral camera so you can see what we see, gradual anesthesia.

What our patients tell us

“I hadn't seen a dentist in eleven years. No one made me feel guilty. We made a two-year plan, at my pace.”

Martin L., patient since 2021

“My 4-year-old asks when we're going back to the dentist. I never thought I'd write that.”

Sophie D., Sillery

“Toothache on a Tuesday morning, seen the same day at 11 am. The price was exactly what was quoted on the phone.”

Jean-Philippe R., patient since 2019
