Ève Turgeon
The owner

Ève Turgeon

Ève studied fashion at Cégep Marie-Victorin, then spent nine years as a buyer for a national chain. She left tired of eight-collection-a-year cycles and clothes that don't survive a winter.

Ombelle opened in 2021 in a former shoe repair shop. Her buying rule is simple: she only brings in a piece if she'd wear it herself for three years. She'll also tell you, bluntly, when something doesn't suit you — that's why people come back.

Two advisors work with her: Naïma (plus sizes, styling) and Simon (menswear, denim).

What we do for you

Personalized advice

An hour with Ève or Naïma, by appointment, free and with no obligation to buy. Reserved fitting room, coffee served.

Alterations

Free hemming on pants and jeans bought here. Other alterations from $20, done by a neighbourhood seamstress in 5 to 7 days.

Holds

Seven days with no deposit, or thirty days with 20% down. A simple call is enough.

Special orders

Another size, another colour, a piece you saw from one of our designers: we order it at no charge, delivered in 2 to 3 weeks.

Gift cards

Any amount, no expiry date, printed on card stock. Free gift wrap all year.

The Ombelle card

One punch per $100 spent: the tenth gets you $75 in store. We also keep your sizes and preferences on file.

Eco-friendly, concretely

Two-thirds of our brands are made in Québec or Canada. No plastic bags, reused hangers, old clothes accepted for donation or repair.

In-store events

Meet a designer the first Thursday of the month, 5 to 8 pm. Fall swap sale in October, free repair workshop twice a year.
